How to Swap on Camelot

Swapping tokens on the G7 Network

Overview

Camelot is a Decentralized Exchange (DEX) available on the G7 Network. Camelot allows users to swap supported tokens on the G7 Network, for example, swapping $G7 for an equivalent amount of USDC.

How to Make a Swap on Camelot

  1. Navigate and Connect

    • Go to Camelot, and ensure that the network is set to G7 Network

    • Connect an EVM-compatible wallet such as MetaMask

  2. Select Tokens

    • In the ‘From’ field, select the token that you want to exchange from, from your existing tokens

    • In the ‘To’ field, select the tokens that you want to receive

Note: You will only be able to swap tokens that have pairs (for example $G7<>USDC) and exist on the G7 Network.

  1. Decide Your Amount

    • Input the amount of tokens that you either want to exchange from or to, or select ‘Max’ if choosing ‘From’

    • The second token amount will automatically update based on the current market values

    • The pricing is dynamic, so if the price of either of the tokens changes before confirm, they will update automatically

  2. Select to Swap

    • When you click ‘Swap’, you will need to approve the DEX to transfer your tokens if you have not swapped those tokens before on Camelot

    • Once approved, in the Camelot UI select ‘Swap’

    • The Swap action is an on-chain transaction, meaning that it will require a fee. As this is on the G7 Network, a small amount of $G7 is needed to perform the swap. If you do not have enough $G7, the transaction and swap cannot be completed

  3. Swap Completed

    • Once the transaction is confirmed, the exchange will complete: the original tokens will leave your wallet, and you'll receive the new tokens at the previously confirmed rate and amount
