We're thrilled to announce Market Wars, the inaugural game in the Game7 Developer Program.
Market Wars is a World of Warcraft (WoW) mod with Web3 features that replaces the traditional auction house with a Web3 marketplace, demonstrating a practical application of Web3 within a beloved game environment.
Market Wars uses every product in the Game7 ecosystem: it will be the first game to build its community through Summon, distribute on HyperPlay, leverage World Builder for development, and deploy on the G7 Network.
We selected Market Wars as our first showcase game because it addresses the key challenges in the Web3 gaming space:
